Bike rental on the Ruta del Oso costs €15 to €56 for a full day: €28 for the adult bike, €50 for the e-bike and €15 to €28 for kids' equipment. 2026 rates with no weekend or high-season surcharges.
Hourly and daily rates
Let's be upfront: in 2026 there is no hourly rate on the Senda del Oso, only full-day rental. Prices run from €15 (the baby seat) to €56 (the two-adult tandem), with the adult bike at €28 and the e-bike at €50.
Missing the half-day option? In practice you will not need it.
The classic plan, from Entrago to Buyera, is 18 km of gentle descent (200 metres of drop in your favour) done in 2-3 hours with stops; add the time at the bear enclosure viewpoint at km 19 and lunch at the Buyera picnic area, and the day stretches to 4-5 hours.
At €28, that works out at less than €6 per hour of actual use.
The rate also works as a flat price: you pay the same whether you do the short 18 km route or complete 28 km with the Quirós branch. And there is no weekend, bank-holiday or high-season surcharge: the August price is the same as the November one.

One important detail: the Senda del Oso itself costs nothing. The greenway is free, with no tickets or tolls, and the outdoor viewpoint over the Fernanchín bear enclosure is free too. The only thing you pay for is the equipment you rent.
Adults — €28 to €50/day
The two options for anyone pedalling under their own steam.
- Adult bike: €28 — sizes S, M, L and XL
- Electric bike: €50 — for effortless pedalling
Kids' equipment — €15 to €28/day
A seat for every age, from 8-9 months old.
- Kids' bike: €25-28 — 16, 20 and 24 inch wheels
- Tag-along: €25 — kids aged 4 to 8, hitched to the adult's bike
- Child trailer: €25 — ages 1 to 5, 2 seats, up to 30 kg
- Baby seat: €15 — from 8-9 months to 3 years, 5-point harness
For the dog — €25 to €32/day
Two sizes of dog trailer, depending on weight.
- Dog trailer: €25 — dogs up to 20 kg
- XXL trailer: €32 — up to 30 kg, with a refundable €40 deposit
Tandem and tricycle — €35 to €56/day
For chatting side by side or riding without worrying about balance.
- Adult tricycle: €35 — three wheels, no balance required
- Tandem: €56 — two adults
Think of the €28 as a flat day rate: the same price whether you ride 18 or 28 km, with no seasonal surcharges and the return transfer from Buyera included. An hourly rate would have you pedalling with one eye on the clock, and this trail is best enjoyed stopping.
What it costs for your group
- Couple with two adult bikes: €56. Fun fact: the tandem costs exactly the same.
- Family with a baby aged 1 to 3: two adults plus a baby seat, €71.
- Family with two kids aged 1 to 5: two adults plus a two-seat trailer, €81.
- Adult with a dog up to 20 kg: bike plus dog trailer, €53.
Group and family discounts
The only formal discount applies to groups of 20 or more people: a tailored quote based on equipment and date. For families there is no published discount by number of children, although from 5 children up you also get a separate quote.
Even so, a family can trim the bill considerably by choosing the right equipment. The child trailer costs €25 and carries two: that works out at €12.50 per child aged 1 to 5, the cheapest seat on the price list along with the €15 baby seat.
The tag-along, at €25, costs less than the big kids' bike and stops a child of 4 to 8 running out of steam halfway along the trail.

What the price includes
Every rate includes six things at no extra cost: a serviced bike, helmet, insurance, map, on-route assistance and the transfer back from Buyera. There are no hidden extras when you pick up the equipment.
- Serviced bike: brakes, chain and wheels are checked every morning before handover.
- Certified helmet to the European EN 1078 standard, in your size; compulsory for under-16s.
- Accident insurance covering every rider and third-party damage during the route.
- Paper map with the kilometre marks and the more than 30 tunnels flagged, plus a briefing on the route before you set off.
- On-route assistance: if you puncture or the bike fails, one call gets the wheel — or the whole bike — replaced.
- Return transfer from Buyera (km 18): a van every hour between 13:00 and 18:00, with a 25-minute ride back to Entrago.
Pick-up happens in one place: Entrago, Polígono de Pradacón, Nave 1, right by km 0 of the trail. Parking there is free, with around 60 spaces, but in July, August and on holiday weekends it fills up before 10:00; the alternatives are in our Ruta del Oso parking guide.
Not included are food, a lock and cycling kit. For lunch, Buyera has picnic tables, a fountain and a seasonal bar at km 18, so many people get through the day carrying almost nothing.
Booking, payment and cancellation
Booking costs nothing upfront: you choose your date and equipment online and pay when you collect the bikes in Entrago. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before and, if it rains, you can cancel on the day itself with no penalty.
Our advice is simple: book as soon as you have a date, especially from May to September, because you are not risking a single euro.
Check the AEMET forecast the evening before and, if the day looks good, set off between 10:00 and 11:00 to reach Buyera with time for the Molina viewpoint and catch the return transfer without rushing.
